A citadel of learning sited in Ogbomoso, Oyo state and Osogbo, Osun state which belong to the two states called Ladoke Akintola University; Lautech, have announced their resumption today through the school official email which both student and staff have access to. Virtually all the students and staffs believe this email as their main and genuine source of information as far as the school is concern.
The below messages was sent into their email:
"Consequent upon consultations with representatives of diverse groups
of stakeholders, culminating in the approval to reopen the University
with effect from Friday, September 15, 2017, the following dates have
been set for the activities indicated against them:
¨ Friday, September 15, 2017: Reopening
¨ Monday-Friday, September 25 -29, 2017: Completion of Course
Registration for the 2015/2016 Rain Semester
¨ Tuesday, October 3, 2017: Commencement of Lectures
Details of the calendar for the remaining part of the 2015/2016
Academic Session will be released in due course.
While all staff and students are enjoined to please note the dates for
necessary action, the Governing Council and Management appreciate
their patience while the crisis lasted.
